As we continue our series on the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24), we are looking at JOY.
To recap, we have been talking about how without Jesus, we cannot produce the fruit of the Spirit. This week, we talked about how Joy is something God desires for us to have (Philippians 4:4). But when life brings trials and hardship, if we are not connected to Jesus, joy is dependent on our circumstances.
When life is hard, we can rely on God's faithfulness to us, and his promises to us in his word. This is how we can have joy even in difficult circumstances! When we are in Christ, we trust in His faithfulness and His promises!
